K. Justin Hutton
Justin is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Virginia and has practiced in multiple areas of litigation and transactional work throughout his legal career. He began his career litigating criminal matters at the Sullivan County Public Defenders’ Office which allowed him to develop a strong legal foundation in the fundamentals of litigation and develop a depth of knowledge into the innerworkings of litigation practice. He then transitioned and opened a general practice firm handling bankruptcy, social security and disability, workers compensation, family law, contracts, and construction litigation matters. Justin has developed a detail-oriented and strategy-driven approach to litigation that is extremely effective at gaining his clients the results they desire.
Over the last decade Justin’s practice has focused more on complex civil matters where his skills, experience, and advocacy are most useful. His current legal practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, construction litigation, business associations, and contract formation, where he has developed an abundance of experience successfully litigating very complex civil matters.
Justin attended the Tennessee Criminal Defense Trial College in 2013, and the National Trial Advocacy College at The University of Virginia School of Law in 2018, where he received excellent reviews. He also teaches medical malpractice, depositions, and the legal process to medical students at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine.
Justin is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and Partner and founding member of the Hutton Law Firm, LLC.
Justin and Elizabeth have worked tirelessly over the last decade to build a strong legal team that prides itself on providing exceptional courtroom advocacy and professionalism. The team that they have been able to build has delivered consistent results for their clients while also allowing for their individual needs. They formed the Hutton Law Firm to continue to build a practice where exceptional courtroom advocacy and professionalism is cultivated in a collegial atmosphere. At the Hutton Law Firm you are not just another client, and your case is not just another case.
